What does the All-on-4® procedure consist of?
On the day of the surgery, the patient is implanted with 4 implants in appropriately selected places in the upper and / or lower jaw. A permanent bridge with full dentition in the smile line is attached to the implants on the day of the procedure. After half a year, the first (the so-called “temporary”) bridge is replaced with a permanent bridge reinforced with a special titanium beam (of course invisible and imperceptible).
What is All-on4® ?
All-on-4®, i.e. all your teeth on four implants, is an innovative Nobel Biocare® implants-based technique of dental reconstruction developed by Dr. Paolo Malo. The All-on-4® procedure makes it possible for patients to get new permanent teeth without any bone grafting in one day only!
Whom is the All-on-4® method dedicated to?
patients with severe tooth deficiencies or with serious periodontal diseases
patients who are tired of wearing removable dentures
patients whose bone deficiency makes it impossible to get implants in the conventional way
patients who want to improve their quality of life, appearance and regain the joy of smiling

WHY IS IT WORTH INVESTING IN AN ORIGINAL ALL-ON-4® PROCEDURE?

What are the benefits of All-on4® ?
FEWER PROCEDURES
The All-on-4 procedure takes place within a single day. Both the necessary extractions, tissue cleaning, implantation and restoration of teeth take place “in one go”. The number of your visits at our Clinic will therefore be reduced to 3 only: a consultation, a preparatory pre-op appointment and the surgery itself. A new permanent bridge is made in our on-site laboratory and is set in place just a few hours after the implants are placed.
Importantly, the All-on-4® procedure does not require typical procedures for implant treatment, in particular bone reconstruction, which can extend the treatment process up to 1 year.

A NO PAIN (and NO FEAR) PROCEDURE
“However, if your concerns do not allow us to put you at ease, we can also offer you sedation or anaesthesia under the care of an anaesthesiologist. Importantly, the recovery period after the procedure also does not involve pain.”
NO BONE GRAFTING
With traditional implant placement, bone grafting is usually necessary, because after many years in the place of the missing teeth, the jaw bone atrophies and is too weak to hold the implant. In the All-on-4® method, implants are placed in 4 computer-defined places, so they are not limited to a specific location. Therefore, there is no need to improve the bone condition for the implant to stay in it.
REDUCED COST
FULL SET IN ONE DAY
Let’s face it, replacing teeth is always an expensive procedure. This applies to both implants and dental bridges. The All-on-4® treatment may seem very expensive at first. This applies to both implants and dental bridges. The All-on-4® treatment may seem very expensive at first, but when comparing the cost of conventional implantological treatment, i.e. the costs of individual implants and bone reconstruction, as well as the cost of the entire care for almost a year, the price of All-on-4 turns out to be definitely competitive. There are also no costs of the mentioned bone graft, possible lateralization of the nerve, sinus cleaning, etc.
The primary advantage of All-on-4® compared to other methods of tooth reconstruction is time. The second is quality and convenience. Not only does the metamorphosis of a smile occur almost immediately, but the effect of natural beautiful teeth and the comfort of wearing them cannot be overestimated.
The All-on-4® Method Step by Step
Step 1: Insertion of Implants
The surgeon places 4 titanium implants in the upper and / or lower jaw bones at previously planned points based on the patient’s tomography.

Step 2: Multi-Unit Connector
The temporary bridge is permanently screwed on on the day of the surgery. The bridge is fully functional and very aesthetically pleasing.
Step 3: Temporary Dental Bridge
Special connectors are attached to the implants, on which a permanent bridge is then mounted.

ALL-ON-4 METHOD. WHAT IS A PERMANENT
ALL-ON-4 BRIDGE?
The permanent All-on-4 bridge is a prosthetic work made of the highest quality materials, i.e. titanium, porcelain or high-quality acrylic. The bridge is deceptively similar to natural teeth, it significantly improves the functions of speaking and chewing and, of course, the aesthetics of the face.
The bridge is easy to clean, so you will have no problems with maintaining proper hygiene.

What can you expect during consultations?
YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT
During the first visit to the FRANKOWSKI DENTAL clinic, a specialist will assess the condition of your teeth and gums. Then we will take a panoramic image and a computer tomography. Based on imaging using a special computer program, Dr. Frankowski will assess the condition of your bones within the jaw and / or the mandible and suggest treatment options. If the recommendation is the All-on4® treatment, the Doctor will recommend the appropriate version of this treatment for your conditions. He will explain to you how he plans to perform the procedure and justify the choice of a specific option: standard, high skill, hybrid or extra maxilla. Then, the Auxiliary Assistant will tell you about the entire treatment process. You will be able to ask any questions that bother you. We choose the form of anesthesia, the date of the preparatory visit and the date of the procedure.

DAY OF SURGERY
The day of the surgery will be divided into two parts: surgical and prosthetic. In the surgical part, all necessary procedures will be performed and the implants will be inserted. Then, for a few hours you will rest in a special room, where we will cool the areas after the surgery and take care of you. During this time, our technician will create a bridge for you, which will then be attached to your implants. END of the first treatment stage. After the procedure, you will come back to us for the removal of stitches and the first inspection. Then we see you every two months. At the third visit (after about 6-8 months), we begin the second stage of treatment, i.e. impressions and try-ons for the final bridge. This usually takes a few weeks. Finally, we replace the temporary bridge with the final one and… DONE! You can enjoy your new smile forever.

ALL-O4® TREATMENT PLAN

ZYGOMATIC IMPLANTS
For patients with severe bone loss, zygomatic implants are the optimal solution. Zygomatic implants differ from traditional dental implants in that they are mounted in the zygomatic bone (cheekbone) and not in the jaw. They have a different, elongated shape and require a more complex procedure. It is a great alternative for patients as it dramatically shortens the dental reconstruction time and enables patients suffering from severe jaw bone loss to return to a normal quality of life. In a great number of cases, the teeth are fixed on the day of surgery. In this way, the patient avoids the months of invasive bone grafting procedures required to create the basis for conventional implants.

Who are Zygomatic implants for?
It is worth considering the All-0n-4® treatment with the use of zygomatic implants if:
you have been told you have insufficient bone in your jaw and are not eligible for implants
you smoke cigarettes habitually and treatment with conventional implants is not recommended (due to the high risk of complications)
you want a permanent alternative to loose dentures
PREPARATION FOR THE PROCEDURE
Before placing the zygomatic implants, we will perform a CT examination, thanks to which the implantologist will precisely plan the placement of the implants. The next step is to create a structural model of the jaw (the so-called template) that will allow you to assess the shape of your cheekbone and jaw and perform the surgery accurately. The zygomatic implant surgery usually takes place under deep anesthesia, so you won’t feel any pain or discomfort. The course of the operation will be supervised by a team of specialized medics headed by an implantologist and anesthesiologist. We will fix the bridge on the implants most likely on the same day. The recovery period lasts only a few weeks and is not associated with pain or the necessity to withdraw from your daily life. You start to function very quickly as if you had your own natural teeth.

Please remember!
Having a permanent bridge on implants requires daily oral hygiene. In addition to the appropriate brush, toothpaste and rinsing liquid, we recommend the use of a water irrigator (eg Water Pik), which will thoroughly clean the spaces between the gum and the bridge. Alternatively, you can use Superfloss dental floss. It will also be necessary to visit a hygienist every 6 months, during which we will professionally clean your bridges, so that they will serve you for many years.
